Task for inspecting gaincal history of a calibration table

Postby pysjp » Fri Jan 26, 2018 7:39 am

Hey all,

A quick, and relatively simple, question which I am having difficulty digging out of the casa cookbook....

Is there a task to inspect the history of a calibration table, in order to determine the exact parameters given to gaincal which produced that calibration table? gaincal.last obviously gets overwritten each time you run it and if you are doing multiple self-calibrations, as I am (and are a poor book-keeper), you lose track of the steps going in to each selfcal iteration.

Any help would be must appreciated,

Simon.

Hi Simon,
the casa log will have the call to gencal. Would that work?
