Santa Fe Hands-on ALMA Tutorial (Mar 11, 2011)

A one-day tutorial will describe the process for applying for Early Science time with the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA). Staff from the NRAO - North American ALMA Science Center (NAASC) will provide the latest information on ALMA Early Science observing modes and capabilities and how to create and submit an observing proposal using the ALMA Observing Tool and Simulator. Participants will also be provided an introduction to the Common Astronomy Software Application (CASA) package that will be used to reduce ALMA data.

Note that the Hands-on Tutorial date at Santa Fe, NM is March 11, 2011.
