Colloquia
A variety of colloquia and talks are held at NRAO facilities in Charlottesville and Socorro. Detailed schedules for these colloquia and talks are available via the links below.
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA
These colloquia are usually on Thursday, beginning at 11 am Eastern Time in the NRAO – Edgemont Road auditorium. Cookies and coffee are served 15 minutes prior to the colloquium.
TUNA talks are traditionally on Tuesdays, but Mondays and Wednesdays can be accommodated with sufficient notice (subject to room availability). TUNA talks are generally not possible on Thursdays and Fridays due to conflicts with other events.
SOCORRO, NM
Colloquia are held in the auditorium of the NRAO Domenici Science Operations Center (DSOC). Colloquium talks are usually scheduled for 11 am Mountain Time on Friday.
Wednesday Lunch is an informal lunch-time get-together with pizza to hear visitors' results as well as what NRAO staff is doing. If you or one of your visitors would like to speak at Wednesday Lunch, please contact Chris Hales (username chales) at username@aoc.nrao.edu.
Wednesday Lunch is held in the auditorium of the NRAO Pete V. Domenici Science Operations Center in Socorro, New Mexico from noon until 1:00 p.m.
