ALMA Community Day Event at the Carnegie Mellon University

Location: Room number 8325, Wean Hall, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), 5000 Forbes Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15213 and Zoom (link will be shared with registered participants the week of the event)

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) and ALMA Ambassadors cordially invite you to an ALMA Proposal Workshop at Carnegie Mellon University. This event is designed for all astronomers, and in particular for those who do not regularly utilize radio data in their research. The one-day workshop will provide an overview of ALMA including new capabilities, a brief discussion of radio interferometry, and an overview of the proposal preparation and submission processes. In the afternoon. There will be a hands-on session to prepare proposals for the upcoming ALMA Cycle 11 deadline. Lunch will be provided for registered participants attending the workshop in-person.

Registration is free for both in-person and remote participants. However, we would greatly appreciate it if you could sign up before March 21 so that I have an accurate count for lunches.
