The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) and ALMA Ambassadors cordially invite you to an NRAO Community Day and ALMA Proposal Workshop at MIT Haystack. This event is designed for all astronomers, and in particular for those who do not regularly utilize radio data in their research. The workshop will provide an overview of NRAO instruments (VLA, VLBA, ALMA) including new capabilities, a brief discussion of interferometry, data reduction, pipelines, and an overview of the proposal preparation and submission processes. In the afternoon of the second day there will be a hands-on session to prepare proposals for the upcoming ALMA Cycle 10 deadline. Lunch will be provided for registered participants.

Registration is free, but I'd greatly appreciate it if you could sign up before March 30 so that I have an accurate count for lunches.

I look forward to seeing you at Haystack!

- Dongjin Kim (ALMA Ambassador)

All attendees are expected to abide by the NRAO Code of Conduct.
