Date: March 30, 2017
Time: 9am - 6pm
Location: 200 Brockman Hall for Physics

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) and ALMA Ambassadors cordially invite you to an ALMA Proposal Workshop at Rice University. This event is designed for all astronomers, and in particular for those who do not regularly utilize radio data in their research. The one-day workshop will provide an overview of ALMA and have a brief discussion of mm interferometry. In the afternoon there will be an overview of the proposal preparation and submission process and a hands-on session on ALMA imaging and simulations. Lunch will be provided for registered participants.

Registration is free, but we'd greatly appreciate it if you could sign up before March 23 so that we have an accurate count for lunches!

We look forward to seeing you in Houston!
-Luca Ricci & Yann Boehler (ALMA Ambassadors)
