Date: April 14, 2023
Time: 9am-4pm (attendance for the full day is not required)
Location: Room 15.216B, UT Austin Physics, Math, and Astronomy Building (PMA) and Zoom (link will be shared the week of the event)

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) and ALMA Ambassadors cordially invite you to an ALMA Proposal Workshop at the University of Texas, Austin. This event is designed for all astronomers, and in particular for those who do not regularly utilize radio / millimeter data in their research. The one-day (virtual and in-person) workshop will provide an overview of ALMA including new capabilities, a brief discussion of mm interferometry, and an overview of the proposal preparation and submission processes. In the afternoon there will be a hands-on session to prepare proposals for the upcoming ALMA Cycle 10 deadline (May 10th), with support from various UT Austin ALMA experts.

Catered lunch will be provided for registered participants, and attendance for the full day is not required but highly recommended. Registration is free and please sign up by April 3rd so that I have an accurate count for lunche, and so I can better cater the agenda to suit your needs.

I look forward to seeing you at UT-Austin!

- Arianna Long (ALMA Ambassador)

All attendees are expected to abide by the NRAO Code of Conduct.
