Time: 9am - 4pm (MDT)
Location: Online event. Platform to be used: Zoom

Update (03/16/2020): THIS EVENT WILL NOW BE HOSTED ONLINE. Registration is encouraged, especially if you have specific questions in mind, but not required.

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) and ALMA Ambassadors cordially invite you to an ALMA Proposal Workshop. This event is designed for all astronomers, and in particular for those who do not regularly utilize radio data in their research. We encourage participation from graduate students and junior postdocs, but we welcome any astronomer with no radio background to attend. The one-day workshop will provide an overview of ALMA including new capabilities, a brief discussion of mm interferometry, and an overview of the proposal preparation and submission processes. In the afternoon there will be a hands-on session to prepare proposals for the upcoming ALMA Cycle 8 deadline. Registration is free.

We look forward to seeing you online!
