Date: March 30, 2022
Time: 10am - 5pm
Location: Leitner Family Observatory, Yale University

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) and ALMA Ambassadors cordially invite you to an ALMA Proposal Workshop at Yale University. This event is designed for all astronomers, and in particular for those who do not regularly utilize radio data in their research. The one-day workshop will provide an overview of ALMA including new capabilities, a brief discussion of mm interferometry, and an overview of the proposal preparation and submission processes. In the afternoon there will be a hands-on session to prepare proposals for the upcoming ALMA Cycle 9 deadline. We will dive into interferometric data taken with ALMA and use CASA to reduce and analyze the data. Lunch will be provided for registered participants.

Registration is free, but we'd greatly appreciate it if you could sign up before March 25 so that we have an accurate count for lunches!
Note: To comply with the Yale Covid policy. All visitors must be fully vaccinated and have received a booster. Please bring your vaccination records if joining in person. The number of in-person participants will be limited to 60 people.

We look forward to seeing you in New Haven!
- Cheng-han Hsieh (ALMA Ambassador)
