Date: October 29, 2024
Time: 10:30am-5:00pm (Eastern Time)
Location: University of Maryland, PSC Building, Room 1136 & Zoom

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) and ALMA Ambassadors cordially invite you to an ALMA Data Processing Workshop at University of Maryland, College Park. This event is designed for all astronomers, and in particular for those who do not regularly utilize radio data in their research. We encourage participation from students and junior postdocs, but we welcome astronomers at all levels of experience. The one-day workshop will provide an overview of ALMA interferometric data processing and analysis, including hands-on sessions for imaging and self-calibration with CASA, imaging array combinations, and data visualization with CARTA.

Registration is free for both in-person and remote participants, and attendance for the full day is not required but highly recommended. For in-person participants, we'd greatly appreciate it if you could sign up before October 23 so that we have an accurate count for lunches.

We look forward to seeing you at the University of Maryland!

- Eltha Teng (ALMA Ambassador)

All attendees are expected to abide by the NRAO Code of Conduct.
