Community Days Mexico February 2013
NRAO will conduct two Community Days, one hosted by Universidad de Guanajuato (5 February 2013) and the other by UNAM Morelia (7 February 2013). The maximum number of participants for each day is 20. Please register using the Registration link on the left. We accept participants in the order their registrations are received by us.
An important part of a Community Day are the hands-on sessions, including observation preparation and data reduction, and it is therefore very important for participants to do the following well prior to the Community Day (it is very unlikely you will be able to install CASA and download data during the Community Day).:
- Register at the NRAO user database if you have not done so yet
- Bring a laptop
- Download the 'OPT_demo.xml' file for the OPT demo.
- Download and install CASA 4.0
- Download the demo data we will be using during the CASA demo.
