Enhanced Data Products
Enhanced data products (EDPs) are products requiring more resources and/or domain knowledge than available at NRAO. These products will be created by the community. We are working with several groups to provide such products. The Canadian Initiative for Radio Astronomy Data Analysis (CIRADA) will provide source lists matched to multiwavelength data, polarization products based on Faraday Synthesis and transient alerts. The South African Inter-University Institute for Data Intensive Astronomy (IDIA) will complement these efforts in the fields of polarization products and data visualization. Criteria for including EDPs in the VLASS archive will be relevance to the VLASS science case and cost of curating and serving the products.
We also have a page of links to user-supplied software that may be of use for analysis etc of VLASS data. These links are provided without guarantees, and, as ever, users should be cautious when downloading scripts from unfamiliar sites.
