Date: Tuesday, April 18, 2023
Time: 10:30am - 5:30pm (Eastern time)
Location: Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (CITA) - 60 St George Street, Toronto, ON M5S 3H8
(Remote participation is also possible)

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) and ALMA Ambassadors cordially invite you to an ALMA Proposal Workshop at CITA. This event is designed for all astronomers, and in particular for those who do not regularly utilize radio data in their research. The one-day workshop will provide an overview of ALMA including new capabilities, a brief discussion of millimeter interferometry, and an overview of the proposal preparation and submission processes. There will also be a hands-on session to prepare proposals for the upcoming ALMA Cycle 10 deadline. We welcome participation either in-person or remotely (via Zoom), although lunch will be provided only for the in-person participants.

Registration is free for both in-person and remote participants. However, I would as in-person participants to please sign up before April 07 so that I have an accurate count for lunches.

I look forward to seeing you at CITA!

- Jiayi Sun (ALMA Ambassador)

All attendees are expected to abide by the NRAO Code of Conduct.
