The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) cordially invites you to a NRAO Community Event following the Molecular Spectroscopy Symposium at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

This event is designed for all scientists and in particular for those who do not regularly utilize radio astronomy data in their research.

The workshop will be one and a half days long. On the afternoon of the first day we will provide an overview of the the ALMA telescope including a brief discussion of mm interferometry and an overview of the proposal preparation and submission process. On the second day we will dive into interferometric data processing and use CASA to reduce and analyze a sample ALMA Cycle 0 dataset.
