Date: Wednesday, October 29, 2025
Time: 09:30 AM - 05:30 PM
Location: Sala B02, Beauchef 851, Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas, Universidad de Chile, Santiago, and online (Zoom link will be shared with registered participants closer to the date)

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) and ALMA Ambassadors cordially invite you to an ALMA Data Processing Workshop. This event is designed for all astronomers, from seasoned ALMA users to those who do not regularly utilize radio data in their research or have no radio background. We encourage participation from graduate students and junior postdocs, but we welcome astronomers at all levels of experience. The one-day workshop (in person and virtual) will provide an overview of ALMA interferometric data processing and analysis, including imaging and (auto-)self-calibration with CASA, imaging array combinations, and data visualization with CARTA.

A free catered lunch will be provided on-site for registered participants. While attendance for the full day is not required, we hope you’ll join us for as much of the program as possible. Registration is completely free, but please complete the registration form by October 22 so we can plan for lunch and tailor the workshop to participants’ interests. In-person capacity has been reached but you may still participate virtually.

I look forward to welcoming everyone at the Universidad de Chile!

- Pietro Curone (ALMA Ambassador)

All attendees are expected to abide by the NRAO Code of Conduct.
