ALMA Data Reduction Party
Date: March 13-15, 2019
Time: 9am - 5pm
Location: NRAO, Charlottesville, VA
We will provide access to our data reduction cluster, data analysts to prepare your dataset locally, and help you understand the calibration and preliminary imaging that has been done on your dataset. Staff scientists with CASA expertise will also be available to help you decide if you can push the imaging further, if self-calibration will improve your results, and how to analyze and display your fabulous data in a way that allows you to extract the exciting science results that you know are in there. All you need to bring are your laptop, your enthusiasm, and your questions.
February Update: We have reached the registration limit for the March data reduction party. If you would like to be put on a waitlist or be advised of other upcoming NAASC data reduction events, please email Rachel Friesen (although we note that based on past experience, we are unlikely to free up space for additional participants for this workshop).
Please remember that the NAASC also supports individual face-to-face visits, which you can request by submitting a ticket to the Face-To-Face Support Department of the ALMA Helpdesk.
See you in March!
