Important Dates
Please be sure to register for the Symposium by the deadline - March 14, 2014.
The Abstract deadline is March 21, 2014. Please be sure to submit your Abstract using the form provided.
Lodging
Lodging will be sponsored by NRAO at the Courtyard Marriott located at 1201 West Main Street. Symposium participants should contact Jessica Utley (jutley@nrao.edu) with arrival and departure dates. Once lodging is booked, you will receive a confirmation with hotel information.
Travel
Please note: there will not be a welcome reception on Sunday evening as previously mentioned.
By Plane:
If you will be flying, the most popular options are to fly into Dulles International Airport (IAD) in Washington, DC or Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO) in Charlottesville, Virginia. If you fly to DC you will need a rental car for the trip from DC to CV. If you fly into Charlottesville, you can catch a taxi from the airport to the hotel. There is a free trolley that runs from the hotel to (very near) NRAO.
By Train:
The Charlottesville Amtrak station is located on West Main Street (within walking distance of the hotel) and could be an alternative to driving if you are traveling from somewhere close.
By Car:
Maps and directions to NRAO are located here. If you plan to drive, please let Jessica Utley know when you plan to arrive. If you need a rental car you can book one yourself and or contact Jessica Utley to arrange one for you.
