The 16th Synthesis Imaging Workshop was held 16-23 May 2018 at the NRAO and the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, New Mexico. The workshop comprised four days of lectures on aperture synthesis theory and techniques at a level appropriate for graduate students in physics and astronomy. The workshop also included two days of practical tutorials demonstrating data collection, calibration, and imaging of data from the Very Large Array, the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array, the Long Wavelength Array and the Very Long Baseline Array.
