We ask participants to adhere to the Values Statement and Code of Conduct of the Dunlap Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics.
An important part of a Community Day is the hands-on sessions, including observation preparation and data reduction. Therefore, it is very important for participants to do the following well prior to the Community Day (it is very unlikely you will be able to install CASA and download data during the Community Day).:
- To be able to prepare VLA observations (needed for the self-guided tutorial), register at the NRAO user database if you have not done so yet.
- Bring a laptop.
- Download and install CASA 5.1.2
- Download the demo data
