Program

The morning sessions will be tailored to more novice attendees and include the following sessions: 
 1. Overview of ALMA and principles of interferometry  
2. Proposal Planning 1: Tips & Tricks on Proposal Writing 
3. Proposal Planning 2: Getting familiar with the ALMA archive & Downloading data

The afternoon sessions will then also include aspects that are relevant for more experienced ALMA users:
 1. Proposal Planning 3: The ALMA Observing tool, including tips and best practices for setting up the Observations  
2. Proposal Planning 4: Using Simulations for Proposal Planning 
3. Proposal Planning Conclusion: Checklist for preparing a (ALMA) proposal
4 Discussing Cycle 12 Capabilities and Outlook (ALMA WSU)
