The Universidad de Valparaíso will host a one-day workshop on ALMA Proposal Preparation for the upcoming
Cycle 13 Call for Proposals (March 19 to April 23). The workshop will cover ALMA capabilities, mm/submm interferometry observing techniques, and the tools needed to design observing programs. Participants are welcome to bring their proposal drafts, if any. Remote attendance will also be possible. The language will be English, with the possibility to ask questions in English, Spanish, or French.
There are no registration fees, and lunch will be offered to all in-person attendees. The workshop is supported by the North American ALMA Science Center (NAASC) of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO).
Note: The registration deadline to qualify for a free meal is March 12.
Registrations will remain open afterward, but lunch will not be included.
