Arriving by car: Avenida España / Errázuriz / Altamirano is the main road connecting Viña del Mar and Valparaíso. To reach the campus, you can turn either onto Avenida Parque or Subida Torpederas, and then continue along Diagonal until you reach Avenida Gran Bretaña. Please note that there is no private parking available. You may park along Diagonal or Avenida Gran Bretaña.

From Santiago to Valparaíso:

It takes about 1h30 by bus from the Pajaritos Bus Terminal (Santiago) to the Rodoviario Bus Terminal in downtown Valparaíso. Several bus companies operate this route, including Turbus, Pullman, Cóndor, Romani, and FlixBus. A one-way ticket costs approximately CLP 7,000.

Founded in 1956, the NSF NRAO provides state-of-the-art radio telescope facilities for use by the international scientific community. NSF NRAO telescopes are open to all astronomers regardless of institutional or national affiliation. Observing time on NSF NRAO telescopes is available on a competitive basis to qualified scientists after evaluation of research proposals on the basis of scientific merit, the capability of the instruments to do the work, and the availability of the telescope during the requested time. NSF NRAO also provides both formal and informal programs in education and public outreach for teachers, students, the general public, and the media.
