Pulsar Cyclic Spectroscopy as a Probe of the Interstellar Medium

Abstract

Cyclic spectroscopy has the potential to revolutionize how pulsar astronomers study the interstellar medium. These benefits are achieved by using a pulsar's cyclic spectrum, which allows one to extract additional information from periodic observed signals than can otherwise be achieved through typical phase-resolved spectroscopy. In this talk, I will discuss the usage, advantages, and limitations of this technique, as well as expound on recent results achieved through its utilization.
