Development Upgrades of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA)

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) invites interested parties in the North American ALMA partnership to submit proposals for "Development Upgrades of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA)."

There are two Calls for Proposals associated with ALMA Development Upgrades: The Call for Study Proposals (released May 1st) and the Call for Project Proposals (released June 3rd).

Informational Meeting

A pre-proposal informational meeting, to address questions regarding both Study and Project Calls for Proposals, was held in Charlottesville on 10 May 2013. Responses to these questions may be found on the Call for Development Studies and Projects FAQ page.
