Date: Monday, March 25, 2024
Time: 10:30am - 5:00pm (Pacific Time)
Location: University of California San Diego (UCSD), SERF Building, Room 383 & Zoom

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) and ALMA Ambassadors cordially invite you to an ALMA Proposal Workshop at UCSD. This event is designed for all astronomers, and in particular for those who do not regularly utilize radio data in their research. The one-day workshop will provide an overview of ALMA including new capabilities, a brief discussion of millimeter interferometry, and an overview of the proposal preparation and submission processes. There will also be a hands-on session to prepare proposals for the upcoming ALMA Cycle 11 deadline. We welcome participation either in-person or remotely (via Zoom), although lunch will be provided only for the registered in-person participants.

Registration is free for both in-person and remote participants, and attendance for the full day is not required but highly recommended. For in-person participants, please sign up before March 15 so that I have an accurate count for lunches.

I look forward to seeing you at UCSD!

- Yu-Hsuan (Eltha) Teng (ALMA Ambassador)

All attendees are expected to abide by the NRAO Code of Conduct.
