SKA

SKA: the future of radio astronomy has begun.....

The Square Kilometre Array is the next generation radio telescope; its detailed design phase is well underway, with the expectation that construction will begin in early 2018. I will provide a summary of the SKA science case, with updates from the 'Advancing Astrophysics with the SKA' meeting in Sicily; I'll discuss the project itself, its design process and provide an update on recent progress and decisions.
