New Capabilities - 1.30

Version 1.30 of the OPT was released on 2022 June 01.

Note the following new features:

  • Right-click menus which allow users to create, cut, copy, and paste Projects, Program Blocks, Scheduling Blocks, Subarrays, ScanLoops, and Scans.
  • New Themes (accessible under the View menu) allow users to change the appearance of the OPT.  This includes five new dark-mode themes and one new light-mode plus the original theme.
  • The text size can now be changed (under the View menu).
  • The three main sections of the OPT: Project Tree, Messages, and Main, are now resizable.
  • eLWA was promoted from RSRO to SRO.
  • Importing a Scheduling Block is now Version 6 with Pulsar Recording added for Scans.
  • The "Comments to Operator" box on the Information tab for a Scheduling Block has been renamed to "Comments".
  • The SCT and RCT both now have the server restart warning banner.
  • New warning messages if your Instrument Configurations used for science do not have a Flux or Bandpass calibrator intent selected for Standard observing scans. (Note, if the flux/bandpass calibrator scan is in a loop, the OPT will think the SB does not have these intents selected. This is an issue we will address in version 1.31.)

The following functionality has been removed:

  • Importing from the Old OSRO Defaults Instrument Config Catalog is no longer available.
